Welcome to Parallax Privacy (the “App” or “Service”), brand name of Impulse Infrasec Ltd. (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
1. Description of the Service
Parallax Privacy is a behavioral obfuscation tool designed to protect your privacy by injecting high-fidelity synthetic noise into your device’s activity stream. This includes simulated GPS movement, phantom browsing activity, synthetic contacts, notes, calendar events, and other background behaviors. The goal is to disrupt routine-based profiling and tracking attempts by blending real and artificial activity on your device.
All core obfuscation features operate locally on your device. The Service may include free and premium (paid) features.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the App. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
3. User Accounts
Certain features may require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Licenses and Restrictions
- We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on your personal Android device(s) for your own private, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
- You may not: copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works of the App; rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, or distribute the App; remove or alter any proprietary notices; or use the App for any illegal purpose.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use the App to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
- Attempt to circumvent or disable any security or technical measures in the App.
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service or any other user’s device.
- Use the App in any way that could damage our reputation or business.
6. Payments and Subscriptions
Premium features may require payment via Stripe. All payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Google Play account or the App settings.
All payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change prices with notice.
7. Synthetic Data and Device Activity
The App generates synthetic (artificial) activity locally on your device. This data is temporary and is automatically cleaned/removed within a few days as part of the normal operation of the Service. You acknowledge that some synthetic activity may temporarily appear in your device’s apps (GPS, calendar, contacts, etc.).
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely effective against all forms of tracking or profiling.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the Republic of Estonia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of Estonia.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App, email, or website. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full force. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App.
